Know-How, Technical Skills and Experience:, · Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification and methodology development, · Experience overseeing the design, development and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems or products, · Experience in writing business feasibility reports and undertaking presentations, · Strong track record of contributing to requirements specification and IT-related projects, · Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, · PRINCE2, PMI or other project management experience and certifications are a plus, · Understanding of direct sales processes and procedures is a plus, · Fluent English language, spoken and written, · Technical skills: SQL Server, Qlikview and Qliksense. Our company actually selects an SQL Server & Qlik IT Business Analyst. The purpose of this position is to support Business Partners in the optimization of their business processes. He/she serves as facilitator between Business and IT network. He/she accompanies and supports the business requirement specification process and/or the business case definition when requested by the business partner. Additionally, the IT Business Analyst consults the business regarding business process improvement and adequate usage of IT solutions. He/she supports the design of efficient and effective business processes and their proper implementation while leveraging IT technology. 1. Interface to the business -Deeply understand the local business processes and identify potential IT solutions -Serve as facilitator between Business and IT working networked (cross-country, cross-company, cross-divisional), identifying and utilizing synergies across IT) -Develop a strong understanding of and actively exploit the benefits of key applications used in the company -Provide process and technical consulting during demand identification and qualification -Act as the lead interface for requirements gathering for business projects -Identify and realize potential value within existing applications -Actively consult business and IT to consolidate applications and infrastructure solutions on company and or country level -Support the creation of business cases -Develop budgets and time frames for process changes in order to support company objectives 2. Business requirements -Create and manage the creation of systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language, continuously analyzing and verifying requirements throughout the project life cycle -Define the scope of application changes as well as new applications and develop cost/ benefit comparisons -Accompany and support business requirement specification process when requested by business partner -Clearly describe and define complete business requirements (functional, non-functional and organizational) for new demands -Support the Key User in describing a demand -Translation of conceptual user requirements into functional requirements -Create process models, specifications, diagram and charts to provide direction to developers and the project team -Define use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria for new IT solutions -Use of investigation techniques (interviews, workshops, observations, scenarios, prototyping, quantitative approaches) 3. Business architecture -Create and maintain the current and target business architecture (Content: basic components, design principles, functions of different levels and the naming of functions, and others) -Align and integrate the business requirements with the strategic target business architecture -Support divisional and global colleagues to understand differences in data sources, data quality and data integration requirements -Support development of a roadmap for user acceptance and rollout of standard applications and standard infrastructure solutions 4. Development of IT solutions -Contribute to the development of a solution design that meets business requirements -Work with the local / divisional / global teams to develop training programs for end users -Perform training sessions for end users -Coordinate rollout of global / divisional / local initiatives in local business 5. Continuous improvement -Establish practices and procedures that work towards the continuous improvement of the requirements process -Continuously improve company's requirements specification approach in alignment with existing IT project management standards and Prince2 methodology KEY CHALLENGES FACED IN THE JOB: -Definition and alignment of IT requirements in line with different interests: business needs, project budget limitations, market trends... -Ensure positive perception of IT department
